Take a stand.

Ah, the wonderful world of Alice in Wonderland. Well, anywho, much has passed through my slice of time in the past week or so, but I shall try to keep it interesting.

I'm sure a good deal of you watch Strong Bad on homestarrunner.com. (If you haven't seen them, go right now and watch them before your crap-for-crap computer explodes!) Yes, so, FYI: Strong Bad answers an email from an adoring and preferably female fan every week or so, and he's done this over a hundred times now. It just so happens that my buddy Jon Braut (I think that's how his last name is spelled) had his email answered as the 100th email. 'Tis funny too, because he sent it like 7 months ago, but hey, it got answered!

Ok, now we slide back in time to Wednesday o' last week: I got a CT scan. (Everybody thinks it's called a CAT scan, but it stands for "computerized tomography," so ) Yeah, so yesterday, I went back to the doctor to see the results, and during lunch at school annoyingly enough; although I did get to miss lit class, so I suppose it all balances out. Anyway, I got to see the CT scan results and take a look inside my own noggin. Apparently, I've had a huge infection clogging all the sinuses on the left (your left, not mine ) side of me face. It's been there, pretending to be allergies, for at least 3 years. So now I'm taking these freaking-huge thumbnail-sized antibiotics that are a good five times more powerful than normal ones AND I have to use Flonase. So the collective side effects have left me here, at home, when I could be goofing off and making merry at school.

Now that I have the more recent news out of the way, we shall accellerate to the thrillogical speed of 88 mph and timeshift back to...
The Talent Show
Ah, the Talent Show. Before last Thursday, I'd never ever BEEN to a talent show, much less played in one. That's right folks, I played Nikki's accordion (which happened to be that most excellent present I detailed a few entries back) in a Talent Show. I'd say I didn't do as well as I thought I would, and yet, I did better. Pretty much boils down to this: I didn't do too well with the actual accordion playing, but, as my sister said, I'm so much of a ham that I made it all entertaining.

And besides, I DID get like 3 standing ovations.
